BIOTECHNOLOGY

STARCH & STARCH CONVERSION PRODUCTS

Starch which is obtained from a variety of sources such as Rice, Wheat, Corn, Banana, Tubers etc. can be converted to Dextrose through Enzymatic conversions.

With Dextrose as a starting material a whole range of Pharmaceutical and Health care products such as IV fluids and Glucose powder can be produced. Liquid glucose is used in the manufacture of confectionery and various food products.

Starch by itself finds wide applications in the food, pharmaceutical, paper, textile industries depending upon the grade.

Various Bulk drugs can also be produced using Glucose as key feedstock.

POWER ALCOHOL

With the latest trends of blending 5-20% Ethanol with Petrol, Power Alcohol has gained great demand. With the rapid depletion of Petroleum stocks, world over, there is a drive to use Alcohol as Alternate fuel for petrol engines.

MGold offers this project to produce upto 99.9% Power Alcohol from alternate Agro resources through collective farming of Dio-scorea.

MGold has obtained a patent for production of Alcohol from Dioscorea(Konphal) and is offering it for commercial exploitation.

The Alcohol produced is of high quality and can also be used for potable applications. More-ever there is very low quantity of polluting effluents from this Raw material, thus making it an environmentally friendly process.
