MGold REFINERIES:


MGold offers small to medium sized Petroleum Refinery projects on Turn-key basis with its own indigeneously developed technology. The capacities of Refineries vary from 10000BPD to 60000BPD.
This Project envisages the Refining and production of Crude Oil into various Products such as Gasoline (Petrol), Diesel, Naphtha, Propane/Butane and residual products such as Fuel Oils and Bitumen.

Industrial Fuel Oils find a major demand in the Industries for their Energy requirements such as Boilers, Furnaces, Power plants and Generators. Fuel Oils have a major demand as Bunker fuels viz. the Lower Sulfur Bunker Fuel.

The Upper cuts of Refineries are used mainly in the Automotive Industry as well as Raw materials for many Petrochemical Industries.

With the growing economy, the demand for fuels is growing at over 10.5% rate per annum and with the government deregulation of this sector all over the world, there exists a good scope for producing it dedicatedly to service the Industrial, Power, shipping and Automotive sector.

Gas to Liquids Projects– MGold GTL :

MGold GTL aims to produce clean diesel and other transport fuels by joining methane-rich hydrocarbons into the required length of diesel and other fuel compounds by using catalyst reactions. MGold GTL processes can also be modified to produce other liquids, such as naphtha (feedstock for petrochemicals), lube oils, and LPGs. MGold Liquid GTL fuels produced from natural gas contain no impurities and are thus much cleaner burning than conventional fuels.

GTL Technology not only harnesses the huge untapped reserves of Gas around the world but also uses the so much of the extra or unwanted Gas that is often wasted or flared into the atmosphere. GTL also produce clean burning fuels to minimize environmental impacts that also can be blended to improve the quality of conventional fuels without any loss in fuel economy or engine performance. Thirdly, Owing to Cheaper feedstock stock, GTL processes can yield cheaper Raw materials to several Industries.
MGold GTL Research includes conversion of Natural Gas to Syngas (mixture of hydrogen and CO) through two step reforming steps and oxidation and then further converting this syngas into longer chained intermediate products such as liquid fuel and various petrochemicals. This is accomplished using iron-, nickel-, or cobalt-based catalysts. The above figure details the steps for producing liquid fuels from natural gas.

ENERGY WITH COAL:

MGold has undertaken Research to convert Coal into liquid fuels (CTL) through both the process steps of direct and indirect liquefaction.

An array of products can be made via these processes – ultra-clean petroleum and diesel, synthetic waxes, lubricants, chemical feedstocks as well as alternative liquid fuels such as methanol and dimethyl ether (DME).

Coal liquid fuel can be used for transport, cooking, stationary power generation, and in the chemicals industry. Coal-derived fuels are sulphur-free, low in particulates and low in nitrogen oxides. Reducing carbon dioxide emissions with the development of carbon capture and storage methods will make this Technology into a highly attractive alternative for Energy.

Coal is not only less expensive compared to Oil but is also available worldwide enabling countries to access domestic coal reserves and decrease reliance on oil imports – improving energy security.

MGold thus provides low cost options of using Coal and secure alternatives to oil and natural gas for use in electricity generation, transport and domestic consumption.
